These are the terms for using Lamplight at lamplightstudy.com. They are short because the app is simple.
What Lamplight is
Lamplight is a free tool for family worship evenings and personal Bible study: quiz-style games built around published study material, a planner for personal study, and a private family page. It links to material on jw.org; it does not copy or republish it. Lamplight is an independent project made by an individual, not by any organisation.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. Keep your device and passkeys to yourself. One person is the head of each family in the app and can add, correct and remove members; by joining a family with its code you agree that its head can see the things the app says the head can see.
Acceptable use
Use Lamplight for what it is for. Do not try to break into rooms or accounts that are not yours, scrape the service, or use it to harass anyone. We may close accounts that do.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it to the people you chose. We do not use it for anything else.
No warranty
Lamplight is provided as it is, free of charge, and may change or stop at any time. We do our best to keep it working and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use, to the extent the law allows. Study material and its accuracy belong to its publisher, not to us.
